Agave syrup
Agave syrup is a liquid sweetener extracted from the agave plant, the same plant used to produce tequila. It is sweeter than sugar by volume and dissolves easily into cold liquids, making it popular in drinks, dressings, and vegan baking. Its mild, neutral flavour and syrupy consistency mean it behaves differently from granulated sugar in recipes.
