Almond meal
Almond meal is made from ground almonds, typically with the skins left on, giving it a coarser texture and slightly darker colour than almond flour. It is used in baking, as a coating for fried or baked foods, and as a thickener in some batters. Its slightly gritty texture distinguishes it from finer almond flour.
