Asparagus (chopped)

Asparagus is a spring vegetable consisting of tender green, purple, or white stalks, harvested as young shoots before they develop into ferny growth. It is typically steamed, roasted, grilled, or blanched, and has a slightly grassy, mildly sweet flavour. The woody base of the stalk is usually trimmed away before cooking.

Chopping breaks an ingredient into pieces, which changes how much air gets trapped between them compared with the whole form.
