Baby spinach (fresh, loosely packed)
Baby spinach refers to spinach leaves harvested while young and tender, with a milder flavour and more delicate texture than mature spinach. It is commonly eaten raw in salads or lightly wilted into cooked dishes, needing very little cooking time due to its tenderness. Its leaves are smaller and less fibrous than mature spinach leaves.
Measured fresh, before any drying, cooking, or other processing changes its water content and density.
