Bean curd (firm diced)

Bean curd, more commonly known as tofu, is made by coagulating soy milk and pressing the resulting curds into blocks. It has a mild flavour and absorbs the taste of marinades and sauces readily, with a texture ranging from silken and soft to firm and dense depending on how much liquid has been pressed out. It is used across many Asian cuisines in soups, stir-fries, and braises.
