Bee pollen
Bee pollen consists of small granules of flower pollen collected by bees, compacted and gathered from hives. It has a slightly sweet, floral, faintly bitter flavour and a granular texture, and is typically sprinkled over smoothies, yoghurt, or cereal. It is used more as a garnish or supplement than as a primary ingredient in cooked dishes.
