Beef stock
Beef stock is a savoury liquid made by simmering beef bones, and sometimes meat and vegetables, over an extended period to extract flavour and body. It forms the base for soups, stews, gravies, and braises, adding depth and richness that water alone cannot provide. Stock differs from broth in typically being made primarily from bones, giving it a fuller, more gelatinous body when chilled.
