Belimbing wuluh (sliced)

Belimbing wuluh, also known as bilimbi or cucumber tree fruit, is a small, very sour green fruit used in Southeast Asian cooking, particularly in Indonesian and Malaysian dishes. It is added to curries, sambals, and pickles to provide a sharp sourness similar to tamarind. It is rarely eaten raw on its own due to its intense tartness.

Slicing changes an ingredient's shape and how it settles into a measuring cup compared with the whole or diced form.
