Biscuits (crushed)
Biscuits, in the British and Australian sense, are small, flat baked goods that are typically crisp or crumbly, ranging from plain to sweet and filled varieties. They are eaten on their own, dunked in tea or coffee, or used crushed as a base for cheesecakes and other desserts. Their dry, crumbly texture makes them easy to crush into fine crumbs for baking bases.
Crushing breaks an ingredient into irregular fragments, which can pack either more loosely or more densely than the whole form depending on fragment size.
