Black pepper (whole)
Black pepper is a pungent spice made from dried, unripe peppercorns, ground or used whole, and is one of the most widely used spices in the world. It adds a sharp, slightly woody heat to almost any savoury dish and is typically added at the table or during cooking. Freshly ground pepper has a noticeably stronger aroma than pre-ground pepper.
Measured whole and unprepared, before any chopping, slicing, or other processing changes its density.
