Broccolini (chopped)
Broccolini is a slender, elongated vegetable that is a hybrid of broccoli and Chinese broccoli (gai lan), with long tender stalks and small florets. It has a milder, sweeter flavour than regular broccoli and cooks quickly by steaming, roasting, or stir-frying. The entire stalk, unlike thicker broccoli stems, is tender enough to eat without peeling.
Chopping breaks an ingredient into pieces, which changes how much air gets trapped between them compared with the whole form.
