Brown rice flour
Brown rice flour is milled from whole brown rice grains, retaining the bran and giving it a slightly nutty flavour and coarser texture than white rice flour. It is used as a gluten-free flour in baking, often blended with other gluten-free flours and starches for better texture. It has a shorter shelf life than white rice flour because of its natural oil content.
