Burrata is a fresh Italian cheese with a solid mozzarella shell enclosing a soft, creamy centre of curds and cream. It is served at room temperature, typically torn open to let the rich interior spill out, alongside tomatoes, bread, or olive oil. Its delicate structure and high moisture content mean it does not keep as long as firmer cheeses.
