Candy melts
Candy melts are coloured, flavoured confectionery discs formulated to melt smoothly for dipping, coating, and moulding, without necessarily containing real cocoa butter like couverture chocolate. They are popular for cake pops, decorations, and coatings because they set firmly at room temperature without tempering. Their composition varies by brand, often using vegetable fats instead of cocoa butter.
