Cane sugar
Cane sugar is sugar produced from the juice of sugarcane, refined to varying degrees from raw, less-processed forms to fully refined white sugar. It is used interchangeably with regular granulated sugar in most cooking and baking applications. Less refined versions retain a faint molasses flavour and a slightly darker colour.
