Canola oil
Canola oil is a neutral-flavoured vegetable oil pressed from the seeds of the canola plant, a variety bred from rapeseed to be low in erucic acid. It has a high smoke point and is used widely for frying, baking, and general cooking where a neutral flavour is desired. Its mild taste makes it a common substitute in recipes calling for generic vegetable oil.
