Celeriac (diced)

Celeriac, also known as celery root, is a knobby root vegetable with a mild, celery-like flavour and a starchy, dense texture. It is peeled and used raw grated into salads like remoulade, or cooked into mashes, soups, and gratins. Its rough, gnarled exterior requires more thorough peeling than most root vegetables.

Dicing cuts an ingredient into small, even cubes, which pack differently into a cup than slices or larger chopped pieces.
