Celery salt

Celery salt is a seasoning blend made from ground celery seed mixed with salt, used to add a savoury, slightly bitter celery flavour without the moisture or texture of fresh celery. It is commonly used in Bloody Mary cocktails, on corn on the cob, and in various savoury spice blends. Because it already contains salt, recipes may need adjusting to avoid over-salting.
