Chocolate chips
Chocolate chips are small, teardrop-shaped pieces of chocolate formulated to hold their shape somewhat when baked, making them ideal for cookies, muffins, and other baked goods. They contain stabilisers that help them keep some structure rather than melting completely, unlike baking chocolate. They come in dark, milk, and white chocolate varieties, among others.
