Chocolate (roughly chopped)
Chocolate is made from processed cacao beans, combined with varying amounts of sugar, milk, and cocoa butter to produce forms ranging from dark and bitter to sweet and milky. It is eaten on its own, melted for baking, or used to make sauces, ganaches, and coatings. Different types, such as dark, milk, and white chocolate, behave differently when melted due to their varying cocoa solid and fat content.
Roughly chopped pieces are larger and more irregular, trapping more air in a cup than finely chopped pieces of the same ingredient.
