Corn oil
Corn oil is a neutral-flavoured vegetable oil extracted from the germ of corn kernels, with a high smoke point suited to frying and high-heat cooking. It is used in baking, frying, and general cooking where a mild, unobtrusive flavour is preferred. Its neutral taste makes it broadly interchangeable with other refined vegetable oils.
