Cornichons (sliced)

Cornichons are small, tart pickled gherkins, a type of young cucumber, pickled whole in vinegar and often flavoured with herbs and spices. They are served alongside pâtés, cheeses, and charcuterie, or chopped and used in sauces like tartare. Their small size and firm, crunchy texture distinguish them from larger pickled cucumbers.
