Crackers (crushed)
Crackers are thin, crisp baked goods made from a simple dough of flour, fat, and water, ranging from plain to seasoned varieties. They are eaten on their own, topped with cheese and spreads, or crushed and used as a coating or binder in cooked dishes. Their dry, crisp texture makes them easy to crumble into fine crumbs.
Crushing breaks an ingredient into irregular fragments, which can pack either more loosely or more densely than the whole form depending on fragment size.
