Dill seeds
Dill seeds are the small, dried seeds of the dill plant, with a flavour similar to the fresh herb but more concentrated and slightly bitter, closer to caraway. They are used primarily in pickling brines and some bread recipes, providing a more robust, longer-lasting flavour than fresh dill. They are generally used whole rather than ground.
