Dried blueberries
Dried blueberries are blueberries that have had most of their moisture removed, often with a small amount of added sugar or oil to prevent excessive shriveling, resulting in a chewy, concentrated fruit. They are used in baking, trail mixes, and cereals in place of fresh blueberries when a chewier texture and longer shelf life are wanted. Their flavour is more intensely sweet-tart than fresh blueberries.
