Dried papaya (chopped)
Dried papaya is papaya flesh that has been dehydrated, usually with added sugar, resulting in a chewy, intensely sweet dried fruit with a slightly musky flavour. It is eaten as a snack or added to trail mixes and baked goods. Its chewy texture and concentrated sweetness differ considerably from the softer, juicier fresh fruit.
Chopping breaks an ingredient into pieces, which changes how much air gets trapped between them compared with the whole form.
