Dried pineapple (chopped)
Dried pineapple is pineapple that has been dehydrated, sometimes with added sugar, resulting in a chewy, tangy-sweet dried fruit. It is eaten as a snack, added to trail mixes, or used in baking for a tropical, chewy addition. Its concentrated tartness and chewiness distinguish it markedly from juicy fresh pineapple.
Chopping breaks an ingredient into pieces, which changes how much air gets trapped between them compared with the whole form.
