Feta cheese (crumbled)

Feta cheese is a brined, crumbly white cheese traditionally made from sheep's milk or a mix of sheep and goat's milk, with a tangy, salty flavour. It is used crumbled over salads, baked into pastries, or served as part of a mezze platter, and is typically stored in its brine to maintain moisture. Its crumbly texture is distinct from the smoother, more elastic cheeses used for melting.

Crumbling breaks an ingredient into irregular pieces with air gaps between them, making it lighter per cup than a solid block.
