Flour (coconut)
Flour is a fine powder used as a base ingredient in baking, most commonly made by milling wheat or other grains, though it can also be made from nuts, legumes, or other plant sources such as almond, coconut, or chickpea flour. Wheat flour's gluten content determines how elastic and structured a dough becomes, while non-grain flours behave quite differently and often can't be substituted one-for-one. All-purpose or plain wheat flour is formulated as a middle ground suited to a wide range of recipes.
