Focaccia (cubed, loosely packed)
Focaccia is a flat, oven-baked Italian bread, generously topped with olive oil and often herbs, salt, or other toppings before baking. It is eaten on its own, served alongside meals, or used as a base for sandwiches, with a texture that is soft and airy inside with a crisp, oil-glossed crust. Dimples pressed into the dough before baking help hold pools of olive oil on its surface.
Cubing produces small, even pieces that pack more predictably into a cup than an irregular chop.
