Grapes (seedless)
Grapes are small, round or oval fruits that grow in clusters on vines, available in green, red, and purple varieties with a sweet, sometimes tart flavour. They are eaten fresh, dried into raisins, pressed for juice and wine, or roasted as an accompaniment to savoury dishes. Seedless varieties are more common for fresh eating, while some traditional varieties retain seeds.
Without seeds, the edible flesh is denser and weighs slightly more per cup than a seeded equivalent of the same volume.
