Greek yoghurt

Greek yoghurt is a thick, strained yoghurt with much of its whey removed, giving it a dense, creamy texture and a tangier, more concentrated flavour than regular yoghurt. It is eaten on its own, used in dips like tzatziki, or substituted for sour cream or mayonnaise in cooking and baking. Its thickness means it holds up well in dishes where regular yoghurt might make things too watery.
