Hemp flour
Hemp flour is made from ground, defatted hemp seeds, with an earthy, nutty flavour and a high fibre and protein content. It is used in baking as a partial substitute for wheat flour, though its lack of gluten means it is usually blended with other flours for structure. Its distinct flavour is more assertive than that of milder gluten-free flours.
