Hot sauce
Hot sauce is a condiment made from chilli peppers blended with vinegar and salt, ranging widely in heat level and flavour depending on the chilli varieties used. It is used as a table condiment, added to marinades and cooked dishes, or mixed into dressings for a spicy kick. Its vinegar base gives it a thinner, more pourable consistency than thicker chilli pastes.
