Kamut (whole grain)
Kamut is a trademarked name for an ancient wheat variety, also known as Khorasan wheat, with large grains and a rich, buttery, nutty flavour. It is cooked whole as a grain in salads and side dishes, or milled into flour for baking. It generally requires soaking and a longer cooking time than modern wheat varieties.
