Kecap manis
Kecap manis is a thick, sweet Indonesian soy sauce flavoured with palm sugar, giving it a syrupy consistency and a deep, molasses-like sweetness alongside its savoury notes. It is used in marinades, stir-fries, and as a table condiment throughout Indonesian and Malaysian cooking. It is considerably sweeter and thicker than regular soy sauce.
