Labneh
Labneh is a thick, tangy strained yoghurt cheese, common in Middle Eastern cooking, made by straining yoghurt until much of its whey is removed. It is served as a dip or spread, often drizzled with olive oil, or used as a substitute for cream cheese or sour cream. Its thickness can range from a soft, spreadable consistency to a firmer, rollable cheese depending on how long it is strained.
