Macadamia nuts (whole)
Macadamia nuts are round, cream-coloured nuts with a very high fat content, giving them a rich, buttery flavour and a texture that is crisp yet tender. They are eaten raw or roasted as a snack, or used in baking and confectionery, particularly in combination with chocolate. Their high fat content means they can turn rancid more quickly than drier nuts if not stored properly.
Measured whole and unprepared, before any chopping, slicing, or other processing changes its density.
