Mascarpone
Mascarpone is a soft, rich Italian cream cheese with a very high fat content and a mild, slightly sweet flavour, thicker and creamier than most other soft cheeses. It is used in desserts like tiramisu, as well as in sauces and spreads, valued for its smooth, luxurious texture. Its high fat content means it can be whipped for a light, airy result similar to whipped cream.
