MCT oil
MCT oil is a processed oil, typically derived from coconut or palm kernel oil, concentrated to contain primarily medium-chain triglycerides. It is flavourless and used added to coffee, smoothies, and dressings rather than for cooking, since it is not intended for high-heat use. It remains liquid at room temperature, unlike coconut oil, from which it is often derived.
