Mozzarella (grated)
Mozzarella is a soft, mild Italian cheese traditionally made from buffalo or cow's milk, known for its excellent melting properties and stretchy texture when heated. It is used fresh in salads and antipasto, or shredded and melted over pizza and baked pasta dishes. Fresh mozzarella has a much higher moisture content than the firmer, drier low-moisture mozzarella typically used for pizza.
Grating produces fine shreds that pack more densely than larger chopped or sliced pieces of the same ingredient.
