Nori flakes
Nori flakes are dried seaweed that has been crumbled or shredded into small pieces, offering the same savoury, umami flavour as sheet nori in a more convenient, sprinkle-ready form. They are used as a garnish over rice, noodles, and salads, particularly in Japanese cooking. Their smaller size makes them easier to distribute evenly over a dish than whole sheets.
