Oreos (crushed)

Oreos are a branded chocolate sandwich biscuit consisting of two crisp chocolate wafers with a sweet, creamy filling in between. They are eaten on their own, dunked in milk, or crushed and used as a base or mix-in for cheesecakes, milkshakes, and other desserts. Their firm, crunchy wafers make them easy to crush into fine crumbs.

Crushing breaks an ingredient into irregular fragments, which can pack either more loosely or more densely than the whole form depending on fragment size.
