Passionfruit (pulp)
Passionfruit is a small, round tropical fruit with a tough, wrinkled skin and a fragrant, tart, juicy pulp filled with edible seeds. It is scooped and eaten fresh, added to desserts and drinks, or strained for its juice. Its intensely tropical, tangy flavour is often used to cut through very sweet desserts.
Pulp retains moisture and fibre, giving it a denser, heavier measurement than a dried or powdered form of the same ingredient.
