Pawpaw (diced)

Pawpaw is another name for papaya in some regions, a tropical fruit with soft, sweet, orange flesh and a cluster of black seeds in its centre cavity. It is eaten fresh, blended into smoothies, or used in fruit salads, with its flavour becoming sweeter and its texture softer as it ripens. In some countries the name instead refers to a distinct native fruit, so context matters.
