Peanut sauce
Peanut sauce is a savoury, slightly sweet sauce made from ground peanuts or peanut butter combined with soy sauce, lime, chilli, and other seasonings, widely used in Southeast Asian cooking. It is served as a dipping sauce for satay skewers or spring rolls, or tossed with noodles and salads. Its thick, creamy consistency comes from the peanut base.
