Pecan halves
Pecan halves are pecans that have been shelled and split along their natural seam into two symmetrical pieces, prized for their appearance in baking and as a garnish. They have the same rich, buttery flavour as chopped pecans but are used whole for visual presentation, such as topping a pecan pie. Their intact shape distinguishes them from chopped or ground pecans used within a batter.
