Pistachio (roughly chopped)
Pistachios are small, green nuts with a distinctive purple-tinged skin and a mild, slightly sweet, buttery flavour, encased in a hard, partially split shell. They are eaten raw or roasted as a snack, or used in baking, confectionery, and savoury dishes for their colour and flavour. Their green colour makes them popular in desserts where a natural green tint is desired.
Roughly chopped pieces are larger and more irregular, trapping more air in a cup than finely chopped pieces of the same ingredient.
