Prosecco
Prosecco is an Italian sparkling wine made primarily from the Glera grape, typically lighter, fruitier, and less complex than Champagne. It is drunk on its own as an aperitif or used in cocktails like the Bellini, and occasionally in cooking for its acidity and effervescence. It is generally produced using a tank method rather than the bottle fermentation used for Champagne.
