Radish (sliced)
Radish is a crisp root vegetable with a peppery, slightly spicy flavour, most commonly small and red-skinned, though many other varieties and colours exist. It is eaten raw in salads and as a garnish, or cooked, pickled, or roasted, with cooking mellowing its sharp bite. Its leaves are also edible and sometimes used in cooking.
Slicing changes an ingredient's shape and how it settles into a measuring cup compared with the whole or diced form.
